The Old-Fashioned Pine Bucket Electric/Manual Ice Cream Maker

Ice cream lovers and die-hard fans of the world, rejoice! As I've discovered one of the coolest electric/manual ice cream makers on earth.

The electric/manual ice cream maker that I've bought not too long ago comes in the shape and design of an old-fashioned pine bucket.

It's truly the best ice cream maker ever! I like how traditionally-Asian it appears to be, and since I'm a sucker for anything Asian, this 'pine bucket' ice cream maker is just amazing.

It's such a pleasant to my eyes when I put it on display in the kitchen when it's not in use.

The electric ice cream maker produces up to 4 quarts of homemade ice cream.

Its solid-pinewood exterior with maple finish and strong galvanized hoops is such a sight, and you can choose between traditional hand-operated crank or high-torque 3500-RPM motor.

With the ice cream ready in about 15 minutes, the maker's state-of-the-art over-heat protection system for long-lasting performance and ice cream preservation is highly impressive.

Simple Recipes for Homemade Yogurt

Making yogurt requires little time and brings joy to the whole family if everyone participates in the making.

Kitchen appliances or tools needed are the best yogurt maker, a large cooking pot and a candy thermometer.

The ingredients required are yogurt starter, milk and powdered milk (optional). The best yogurt starter to be used is your favorite plain yogurt with live cultures.

Any milk will do, such as whole milk. Powdered milk is optional as its purpose is only to thicken the yogurt.

First, heat 8 cups of milk in the large cooking pot to 185 degrees, then allow the milk to cool down to a temperature of 110 degrees.

Once it reaches 110 degrees, stir in 1/3 cup of powdered milk and ½ cup of yogurt starter. Next, pour the yogurt into your yogurt maker, allow it to incubate for 4-12 hours, and then place it into the refrigerator.

After 12-24 hours, you have your very own yogurt.

It is widely agreed that the making of homemade yogurt is simple and the end product is guaranteed fresh.

Thus, making a homemade yogurt is certainly worth a try.
